Ok, I didn't really looked into the file I stream by details, but here are some of my info:

1. I am on stock 2.3.6 KKA on my Galaxy Note.
2. I installed MX Video Player (which I know does handle many different vid content, example rmvb, mkv etc, I do not know does AirPlayit call MXVideo Player for the media playback, or does it has its own.)
3. I streamed a few clips to test on my Note only, not heavily tested yet, clips that I play are in: rmvb, mkv, ts, mp4 container, by looking in the CPU loading on the server, I suggest by luck many of the clips I tested are actually h264, which seems all server did was streaming the vid content to my Note and it plays well, of coz, with force convert it should all works (but the catch is CPU load)

hope these help.

Downloaded new Server Software: Fine
Works perfekt with the old Ipad 2 app(1.6)

Android app works for movies but u have to enable the "Force Convert" switch to make it work with most of the files. my sony ericsson mini pro sk17i seem a bit to weak for the stream cause it alway have hickups. Means sometime everything is fine then 10secs play 10secs "buffering" 10secs play. on an ipad 2 on the same wifi it works perfekt
it gets a bit better when i reduce the bitrate.

I've installed the app right away but haven't been able to watch a movie properly like on my iPad2.
At the moment i'm accessing my server outside of my house via WiFi.
The device is a Samsung Galaxy S i9000 Firmware v.2.3.3

Starting a movie (.AVI) results in a complete frozen phone and after a while i'll get the message that the app doesn't react anymore.
I did manage to start a sample movie (only 11Mb) with 'Force convert' enabled, but it stuttered.
Send me an email if you want me to test other scenario's.

App not working on Galaxy Tab 10.1.  On Wifi the program loads and finds the files, but when I select a movie to play, all I get is a black screen then it goes back to the file I selected and the program freezes, even if I select force convert. Anybody getting it to work?? I've been waiting for this to come on Android for a long time and really want it to work!!!

works great on the Asus Transformer Prime, but it looks like its bin designed for phones, not for tablets, but the videostream is great, only the interface is more phone like, streaming over web browser doesnot work,
finally a good app for android, cant wait for the tablet version.
tested that on a htc hd2 (modified) and it worked well too
waiting for updates now
the german translation is not that good.
thanks in advance

Works fine on HTC Desire HD.  Doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.  It used to discover my server and then I could scroll through the folders and files fine but would blank out with the network error when I played the video.  Just updated today on the Galaxy Tab and now it doesn't even discover the server and force closes when I manually select.

Now 0.9.1 just only support armv7-a cortex-a8 cpu only and must be android 2.1 later , can you confirm that ?
