It seems that helped a bit in narrowing the problem down. I tryed playing a really small .avi without conversion and that accually worked. It was a bit more than 3MB. So it seems that normal sized movie-files just doesn't work (350 - 4000 MB).
The new version did not make any differance either.

That we think the more important is the resolution and video bitrate , if some file can not played , just try open force convert switch.

Hi, Will you support lesser ARM versions?

My mobile uses ARM V6VFP.   It installs and runs without problems.

However when you start any type of video...converted or not it black screens and then errors with a disconnected network message.

Samsung Fit is my mobile. Android 2.3.4

We will release version of android airplayit for arm v6vfp later.

Download function stops if you leave the program.  For example, I started a download, then switched to browser.  When I returned to air play it, the download had stopped t the point where I left.
Note: download does continue when screen times out.

Should this work with my Transformer Prime running Android 4.0.3?

I love this application and have been using it for a while with my ipod but get the message  "Unfortunately, air playit has stopped" whenever I try and connect from the Prime.

It does at least check that the pin is correct - gives an appropriate error if not.  

Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong or whether it should work now or with a future release.  Thanks

Thanks for the release of the Android App.  I have a HTC Thunderbolt running Android 2.3.7 and it uses a ARMv7 Processor Rev 1 (v71).  I have been able to get the videos to play over local wifi as well as over 4g LTE.  

The main issue I have been having is many force closes and I am unable to add my server by hostname, I must use IP addresses or it will force close.  This applies to both local wifi as well as remote 4g using my dynamic dns name.  I am able to have my iphone setup using host name and such so I figured it was just something with the android release and might need to be reported.

The second issue I have faced is that I have still been unable to get built in subtitles in mkv files to work.  I have tried both with force convert enabled or disabled.

    Also crashes after server input, doesn't find server by itself. When adding server manually if pin isn't correct it says so. When pin is correct it crashes. Galaxy S i9000 with custom rom Onecosmic's ICS Port Android 4.0.3 RC3.1

Always nice to see new streaming apps.

Unfortunately, my experiences are not positive.

- My NVdia ION graphics card (running driver 285.62 on Windows 7 32-bit) has 16 graphic cores, but CUDA isn't supported in Air Playit
- I shared .wtv files, recorded with Windows MediaCenter. Those files play correct on my Samsung Galaxy S phone via wifi using Serviio Streamingserver and Upnp player client on the phone (Vplayer is used to play the video on the phone). With Air Playit android client, the aspect ratio is off,  the video stutters more, and audio is out of sync, audio is getting increasingly ahead of the image (force convert=off). Lowering bitrate does not help.

Same servers working well on iPad.
